Would you like to be a part of the Sampler R&D team and contribute to the future of samplers in Radiometer? Do you like to coordinate and see the big picture as well as the details?
The Sampler team in R&D is responsible of new product development from the very first idea to launch of the product, including product support. Blood Samplers are an essential part of Radiometer’s blood gas business. The Sampler area in R&D is expanding and looking for a new development engineer with focus on test and verification.
The Sampler team is a fairly new team, and you will have a great opportunity to influence the way we work with test and verification/validation for our future product platforms. The team consists of three other professionals and 1 technician working with test. In total we are 13 people in the Sampler team, with competencies within design control, mechanics, chemistry, and UX.
The team is responsible of both formal Design verification activities as well as explorative testing for both development projects and market products. In the projects you will be responsible for the performance of the products both from a functional, biochemical, and user perspective.
The job
To become successful, documentation must be a natural part of your working process, and you must be motivated by having a coordinating role. Your responsibilities and tasks will include:
•Coordination of Explorative testing, delivering value at agreed time.
•Statistics support to your team members.
•Project management of smaller maintenance and improvement projects.
•Coordinate method development and method qualification.
•Scientific coaching of your team members.
•Write test strategy, protocols and reports.
Travel activity of 10% is to be expected (mainly Poland).
Qualifications

•Master of science in engineering or similar (minimum B.SC).
•Knowledge of ISO13485 and CFR part 820 (FDA GMP).
•Knowledge of method development and method validation.
•Experience with design verification and design validation.
•Knowledge of Design Control.
•Experience from a laboratory environment.
•Minimum 5 years of experience from the Medical Device business.
•Language skills: Working language is both Danish and English. Fluency required in speaking, writing and reading English.
•IT skills: Good practice of MS Office package. Exposure to ERP system necessary.
•Preferred: Experience with sterilization.
•Preferred: Chemical knowledge of materials.
