At Novo Nordisk, we share a passion for changing patients’ lives, and we are always looking for talented individuals who want to join us in this effort. Our internships provide exciting learning opportunities for students who bring new ways of thinking to our company.

About the department

We are a small dedicated team of 7 people who are responsible for Novo Nordisk’s communication with investors and financial analysts on a global level. The Investor Relations (IR) department is part of the EVP area Finance, Legal and Investor Relations and the head of IR reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer. The team is recognised to be among the best IR functions in Denmark and the large European Pharmaceutical companies.

The job

You will support the team in the on-going preparation of investor material and the coordination of roadshows, conferences and investor events. In this role you will be involved in the investor targeting and perform follow-up analysis. You will also drive specific analysis and recommendations on how to drive communication with internal and external stakeholders, including the update of the Investor Relations website. You will work with team members on ad-hoc requests and contribute to develop our processes.

Qualifications

You are currently studying on your master’s degree in management, business administration, finance or other relevant field. You are numerate, analytical and have good PowerPoint and Excel skills. Experience with financial platforms such as Thomson ONE is considered an advantage. We expect candidates to be a team player, thrive in a busy environment and bring a can-do attitude. Fluency in both oral and written English; ability to manage various tasks and projects; sound personal judgement; and excellent interpersonal skills are required.

We are a young, dynamic team with an informal and humorous atmosphere. If you can hold on to your good sense of humour at all times, you are the kind of person we are looking for.

Practicalities

Qualification: Students in their first or second year of their master studies.

Period: The internship position is a full-time position for 4-6 months.

Start date: January 2016 (can be discussed)

At Novo Nordisk, we have been changing diabetes since 1923. If you are ready to strengthen our position as an innovative pioneer and respected industry leader, we encourage you to join us to make the most of your talent.
