About the department

The job is located in Corporate Occupational Health and Safety (COHS) as a corporate staff function and a part of Corporate People & Organisation located in Bagsværd. COHS is Novo Nordisk's Centre of Excellence in the field of global occupational health and safety with 28 dedicated colleagues within mental and physical well-being, ergonomics and technical working environment. COHS’s role is to inspire and support the OHS work and employee well-being throughout the global organisation, enabling line of business to realise Novo Nordisk’s OHS ambitions by providing easy-to-use guidance, tools and data.

The position

We offer a challenging position as Project Manger with a two-folded responsibility: Firstly you will be responsible for driving initiatives within our current portfolio of health promotion. This entails planning, executing and evaluation of i.e. DHL Relay Run, WeBikeToWork campaigns, Exercise@Work and a range of other initiatives. You will take charge on dealing with external vendors and partners, you will draft communication materials and you will give presentations and facilitate workshops on various health related topics across Novo Nordisk.

Secondly, you will support the corporate strategy on employee health and physical well-being within Novo Nordisk together with the team. You will be part of conceptualising and implementing easy to use tools and enabling the sharing of best practice across the global organisation. You will follow up on the implementation of our global minimum requirements on access to healthy food, fitness, the smoke-free working environment and health checks.

You will develop and implement initiatives in close collaboration with colleagues in COHS and stakeholders in the global organisation based on your expertise and professional knowledge as well as good practice and Novo Nordisk’ values.

Qualifications

You hold a Bachelor or Master’s degree within Public Health, Physical Ativity, Health Promotion, Social Medicine, Human Nutrition or similar, combined with 2 years of relevant project management experience. It is an advantage if you also have experience from an international company. You understand the challenge of facilitating and implementing cross-organisational initiatives which support the sustainable future of a global company, while at the same time supporting local management’s ability to keep the business running smoothly. You are able to document your business accomplishments via management references.

You have solid project management and communication skills. Your experiences allow you to turn complex matters into simple solutions. As a person you are result-oriented and structured and your commitment is catching. You have a high level of drive, initiative, empathy and persistence and work well in a dynamic environment. English is our corporate language, and hence it is a prerequisite that you speak and write English fluently. You work comfortably in MS Office (experienced in PowerPoint). It is also important that you approach tasks and colleagues with a positive attitude, energy and good humour.
