Blue Ocean Robotics, Europe’s largest manufacturer of service robots, has now strengthened its financial muscle, with an investment from the Danish company A.P. The job
As a Customer Service Team Lead you will be responsible for managing the global UVD Robot Specialist team, while also acting as a UVD Robot Specialist providing installation of robots together with our distributors, including training of distributors and technical staff. You will also be responsible for remote and on-site customer support in close cooperation with our engineering and product development teams.
Your main tasks will be, Robot Specialist team management, installation, service and technical support to direct customers and distributors, herein under:

Manage the UVD Robot Specialist team in Blue Ocean Robotics Customer Service.

Ensure that the collaboration and alignment between Application Specialists, Sales and Robot Specialists across robots and geographies is working well.

Manage the day-to-day activities and alignment of the UVD Robot Specialist team

Coach team UVD Robot Specialists in succeeding within their areas of responsibility

Develop team strengths and improve weaknesses, while creating a pleasant working environment.

Identify team goals with VP Customer Service and evaluate and report progress

Organize team initiatives to reach goals.

Providing supervision and support to installations, either done directly by Blue Ocean Robotics or by distributors.

Installations, maintenance, repairs and other on-site technical services too at customer locations i.e. hospitals, pharma, offices, exhibition centers, schools and various other healthcare and non-healthcare environments.

Telephone, e-mail and chat support to users, customers and distributors

Temporary robot installations at exhibitions, events and demonstrations

Creation and communication of best practice descriptions, maintenance manuals, guides and other user-facing documentation.

Facilitation of training to distributors engineering and service teams both on-site and at HQ.

Delivering technical feed-back from robot installations to our product development team

Travelling is part of the job. Willingness to travel approx. 20% (4-5 day trips sometimes including overnight and some weekends) within the region with different modes of transportation (car, train, air-travel, etc.)
Your competencies
You have experience with technical service team management, service and support of technical products, preferably from healthcare and life science markets and possibly medical devices. Further skills required:

Educational background at Bachelor/Diploma level in computer science, electronics, mechatronics, software or equivalent

Skilled in using Linux operating systems

Excellent at communicating with customers, users and technical staff

Excellent English skills

Proven managerial skills

Experience with technical service management and driving team performance.

Analytical approach and good at problem solving

Maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record

Self motivating, structured and productive with a good overview
