As the Analytics Lead at Issuu, you will be the lead of a small, global team responsible for analyzing, and understanding the data that drives our company. You’re someone who can see stories through data spikes, and is passionate about finding patterns through cohort analysis. We’re looking for candidates who love to work cross-functionally across our product, engineering, marketing, finance and sales teams to help put together a holistic picture of what makes our users happy. Responsibilities
•Analysis (ad-hoc and regular) on data to provide actionable insights at a both tactical and strategic level decisions on product usage and market needs
•Establishing/communicating/enforcing standard metric definitions for use by the whole organization
•Recommendations on data structuring, including when/how to use external vs internal systems
•Strong understanding of business needs, proactive analytical approaches and ability to present actionable insights to Management
•Perform data pulls to generate analysis
•Develop models for predictive analysis
•Manage team of other analysts
Requirements
•BS or higher in Mathematics, Finance, Statistics or Economics
•3-5+ years experience in the insights and data visualization space
•Experience in building custom reports and dashboards
•Proven ability to analyze data to identify deliverables, gaps and inconsistencies
•Experience building custom reports using multiple tools like Tableau
•Ability to write efficient SQL statements across complex data systems
•Experience working with data using various programming languages, e.g. Python, Perl to extract raw data and render it into custom reports/dashboards is a plus
•Experience presenting to senior management
•Previous management experience highly desired
