Lead Electrical Engineer (upstream oil & gas)

In cooperation with colleagues within the department (other designers, engineers and draughtsmen) you are responsible for the electrical generation and distribution systems of an installation. FUNCTION Development of key documents (block diagrams, cable list, (key) online diagrams,…) Preparing project specification(s), problem definition, development of solutions Gathering information from clients and suppliers Specifying electrical equipment (HV&LV Switchgear, Transformers, VSD’s HV&LV motors, UPS systems etc.) Verifying capacity of existing electrical equipment Performing calculations Preparing of Basis for Design documents, reporting findings, recommendations and solutions Attending meetings with clients and suppliers and inter-disciplinary meetings Evaluating bid offers, inter-disciplinary squad checks Manpower planning PROFILE  Bachelor/master degree in electrical engineering Fluent in English (written and spoken) +15 years of experience as an electrical engineer in the upstream offshore industry Good knowledge of MS Office Able to work in a multi-disciplinary systems Good communication and organization skills
