BS and MS in Computer Science & Electrical Engineering
Very good English skills, German is not mandatory
Minimum 5+ years in development, R&D, & leadership experience.
Minimum 3+ years in a platform and/or infrastructure product manager role or engineering manager/director role. Global development experience required.
Strong know-how and experience with virtualization technologies and products.
Must have experience in building solution offerings and reference architectures/designs from inception to broad successful customer / field adoption.
A track record for managing/directing people designing and applying both best-of-breed and "home grown" solutions to meet business objectives on large-scale technology projects.
Your main functions:
Drive industry leading hybrid and private cloud solutions by integrating with well-known virtualization technologies (such as VMWare, Microsoft, and OpenStack) based on QCT’s data center offerings.
Design and develop reference architecture and solution white papers.
Define and drive innovative use cases with emerging / leading technologies from QCT
Liaison with potential and existing customers, participating in customer meetings and presentations, proof of concepts (PoCs), and demos.
Create and present technical presentations to customers and partners, and gather feedback to influence
QCT product and solution offerings.
Your knowledge:
Understand all aspects of virtualized cloud computing solutions (VMWare, Microsoft and OpenStack)
including software defined storage and software defined network.
Strong leadership, communications, and negotiation skills to find creative and effective solutions from QCT and partners.
Understand industry trends in cloud computing, IOT, Big Data and challenges of large-scale systems.
