About the department
Corporate Controlling & Strategic Finance is part of Corporate Financial Planning and is responsible for driving and consolidating financial processes, such as budget and estimates, monthly management reporting and balanced scorecard at corporate level. You will be part of a young and dynamic finance team consisting of 7 dedicated employees. We have a close cooperation with senior stakeholders and our aim is to act as true finance partners based on strong financial competencies combined with a good understanding of the business in which we operate.
The job
You will take on the role as Business Analyst where you will drive corporate planning and financial reporting to senior management in Novo Nordisk. You will be in the driver’s seat for the monthly management report, ensuring an efficient process and a high quality report to our senior stakeholders. By continuously improving your business understanding and financial competencies you will ensure that reports and analysis provide high value and a corporate perspective to the reader. In the planning process you will be imperative in consolidating the budgets across areas and provide fair challenge to the input.
Furthermore, in order to optimise the financial development within Novo Nordisk, you will prepare decision support material and ad-hoc analyses for our stakeholders with an opportunity to get involved in various projects.
Qualifications
You have completed a relevant master's degree in finance or economics with excellent results and you might have 1-2 years relevant job experience. You have strong drive and analytical skills, eye for details, a high quality mind-set and you are proficient in MS Office products. Furthermore, it is important that you have good collaboration and communication skills, including being fluent in written and spoken English as well as being able to communicate with people at all levels of the organisation.
