The opportunity:

  • Operate equipment following standard work procedures
  • Support the senior Innovation technician in maintaining up-to-date documentation
  • Verify machines are maintained properly, operate reliably, and provide consistent 'spec' cycle times. Drive to zero equipment breakdown
  • Identify and help resolve issues quickly by working with your co-workers. Participate in cross-functional teams to implement operational improvements and roll out best practices
  • Be in charge of Daily Equipment Care & Preventative Maintenance
  • Train and Develop others on machine/equipment setup and operations. Share best practices with your team

To join our team you will need:

Education:

  • Bachelor in mechanical or electrical, mechanical Engineering in Automation or equivalent apprenticeship

Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years of working experience will be considered as an asset
  • Networking and Information Technology experience desired

Languages:

  • English Is must. Any other language will be considered as an asset

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Ability to operate both manual and automated industrial machinery
  • Knowledge of PLCs
  • Ability to troubleshoot / improve mechanical and electrical systems
  • Ability to follow documented procedures
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks or operate multiple equipment within any work day
  • Working knowledge of data acquisition, production planning, run charting systems
  • Team player
  • Sense of urgency to resolve issues
  • Good problem solving skills and self initiative
  • Position requires shift, evening, night and weekend work assignments
