We are looking for a Senior Project Manager in Diabetes Finished Products Standardisation & Optimisation(DFP S&O), a unit in Novo Nordisk responsible for Process Optimization, Lean and Training across our production sites in Denmark, US, France, China and Brazil.

About the department

DFP S&O consists of a team of 24 skilled and professional employees working with Optimization, Lean, Training and Standardisation of production processes. The unit strives to enable the Diabetes Finished Product(DFP) areas to deliver business results in a lean way by creating transparency of best practices, and supporting those areas in implementing sustainable solutions to both DFP strategic projects and local business challenges.

The position

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be globally responsible for the Assembly Process Groups and all activities within these groups. You will lead a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural team implementing compliance and optimization projects within the assembly processes.

The position has many stakeholders and deliverables. The key to your success is achieved by staying focused on the DFP Business plan while constantly aligning with your customer at the production sites. Three of your main guiding lights will be: Compliance, simplicity and sustainability.

Although you will not have any direct reports, you will be leading virtual teams consisting of Subject Matter Experts and Process Responsible from the production sites in France, United States, Brazil and Denmark.

You will be the driver for the success of the process group and ensuring alignment with the other process groups within DFP. As part of this it is expected that you will facilitate and drive performance through the process group network.

Qualifications

Your project and portfolio management skills are proven and you have worked in a global environment to drive projects from early ideas to realised benefits. Leading virtual multi-discipline teams and cross-organisational projects requires a person with strong change management skills and the ability to impact through networking and collaboration.

You have a proven track record of successfully driving optimisation initiatives and you have hands-on experience with Lean or Six Sigma, from your time in production. In depth knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices(GMP) is a prerequisite for being considered for the position and knowledge of assembly processes is an advantage.

You can safely navigate in an environment of change and are able to establish relations to and cooperate with colleagues at all levels. Your personal qualities define you as robust self-starter with a high level of energy. Moreover, you have strong communication skills and master the discipline of giving presentations disseminating clear-cut contents. Last but not least, you have proficiency in written and spoken English.

Working at Novo Nordisk

At Novo Nordisk, your skills, dedication and ambition help us change lives for the better. In exchange, we offer you an opportunity to work with extraordinary talent and benefit from a range of possibilities for professional and personal development.
