As a Rig Operations Manager you will be the representative of Siemens Wind Power on board the installation vessel. What are my responsibilities? Being responsible for budgets and pricing strategy for vessels and offshore service providers Being member of project teams providing maritime knowledge and services to our offshore wind farm projects prior to- and during the building phase Management of; planning, development & maintenance of site specific vessel operation criteria Mobilization and demobilization of vessel incl. seafastening etc. of chartered vessels Daily operation of Siemens chartered vessels and for the operation budgets for these Co-operation between vessels and other involved parties, both internal and external Ensure integration and implementation of Siemens chartered vessel within specific projects, being responsible for delivering the vessels prepared as required according to project specifications Supporting the tender process for vessels with due diligence and analysis of capacity, capability and compliance with legislation Performing and reporting vessel inspections, vessel and company audits Supporting EHS (Environmental Protection, Health Management & Safety) in maritime matters What do I need to qualify for this job? You have a technical or practical education at MSc level (e.g. master mariner, navigator, marine engineer or senior officer) combined with extensive experience from the maritime industry, preferably from offshore operations The efficiency of this position is critical for ensuring that all vessels are operated in accordance with good marine practice, in compliance with Company and Client Procedures and Rules, and in accordance with all local and international laws and regulations As a person, you are open-minded and proactive with strong strategic and analytical skills, and you have a result and quality-oriented approach to your assignments You are a dedicated team player with the ability to manage and motivate smaller teams to perform successfully You thrive in a multi-cultural environment and possess excellent communication and English skills both orally and in writing In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
