Then you might be who we are looking for to join the packaging team of DMD Assembly and Packaging.
About the department
In DMD Assembly and Packaging, the packaging team is responsible for being Novo Nordisk’s premier centre of knowledge concerning secondary packaging processes, machines, and materials. We provide this world-class knowledge to both our running production and the many projects within packaging at Novo Nordisk, incl. our expansions of capacity in strategic markets, such as Algeria and Iran.
You will join a team of currently seven packaging experts and project managers, which is expected to grow significantly in the coming years.
The job base is located in Hillerød in Device Manufacturing Development (DMD), and as packaging expert dedicated to our projects in Algeria and Iran, you can expect periods of significant travel activity to these countries and to suppliers of the projects.
Working language is English.
DMD has a solid expertise in on-boarding non-locals and we welcome non-local applicants, willing to relocate to Denmark.
The job
In your job you will work as technical expert developing requirements specifications for the packaging lines to be build. You are in close dialogue with relevant equipment vendors and draw upon your high level of knowledge and technical experience with secondary packaging to ensure that the lines are installed, validated, and ramped up in accordance to plan.
You ensure that the documentation of the design, construction, and installation of the lines are done in accordance with GMP requirements, with which you are very familiar.
You are also involved in setting up the local production organisation, incl. training of operators, supporters, and QA.
To ensure that you are up-to-date on the newest challenges within our global production organisation, you will be part of our day-to-day support to our packaging lines. Here you provide expert input on how to solve non-conformities, change requests, and help our sites address the many challenges faced by a global production organisation.
Qualifications
You have a relevant education, preferably academic, such as M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, laying a solid foundation for your 5-10 years of experience with packaging processes and projects, preferably at least two years of actual production experience. Experience from a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical packaging environment is an expectation.
Within your career you have worked extensively with validation and documentation of this.
You have a global mindset and are comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment with high expectations to your ability to drive results both individually and through others.
A systematic approach to problem solving addressing problems at root cause is your natural way of working.
Competencies within local languages such as Farsi (Iran) or Arabic/French (Algeria) is an advantage, but not a prerequisite.
