Wire Harness Design Engineer
For one of our clients from automotive sector based in Brussels, Belgium we are looking for Wire Harness Design Engineer.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Design of different components such as tube assemblies and manifolds (fuel, lube, and air), unit support brackets, electrical harnesses, and cold structures
- Direct CAD activity 3D routing and package layout
- Making the electrical wiring diagram
- Define connector configurations
- Define electrical circuits, relays and grounds
The profile we are looking for:
- Engineering background (Master or Bachelor Degree)
- CAD tool knowledge
- Knowledge of CATIA V5
- Experience with Electrical Work Bench
- Knowledge of reading technical drawings
- Knowledge of how to read and use engineering specifications
- Knowledge Vehicle EDS systems in the 3D environment
Valuable:
- Cost understanding
- Trained and Certified to utilize Team Centre (TCe)
- Knowledge of harness installation requirements
- Knowledge of harness manufacturing requirements
The minimum of one-two years of experience in the similar position and very high level of English are mandatory. French is highly valuable.
