In 2010 LEO Pharma started on the journey towards defining and using one common CRM system - Veeva CRM.
In 2015 with over 40 countries live Veeva CRM is a strategic platform for LEO Pharma and therefore we look for a dynamic and professional colleague who will function as the Solution Architect for Global Sales and Marketing with primary focus on Veeva CRM.
Setting future standards
In this position, you set the direction for the Veeva CRM technical solution in the short and long term across LEO.
We expect you to constantly manage current solution standards but also to be open to new and better alternatives. You identify the right solutions and when a standard is endorsed, you determine how it is to be implemented and maintained across the business area. By doing this, you will be setting the standards for the future. You will also be the one who ensures that projects are done in accordance with best practice principles.
You will be responsible for:
- analyzing business needs and understanding opportunities in technology trends
- responsible for establishing and executing of long-term strategic plan for Veeva CRM
- ensure integrity of the data and functionality in Veeva CRM solution across all affiliates
- participate in system advisory boards and change advisory boards (ensuring any changes within Veeva is both in line with the defined strategy and does not conflict (technology-wise) across the affiliates)
- act as sparring partner towards LoB (System Owner, System Manager, Global and/or Local Admins as well our vendors) with regards to new development, current use of the system, roll out of standard processes etc.
- continual development and improvement of Veeva CRM to ensure the system design is suitable for both current and future requirements
- function as sparring partner with Line of Business, vendors and GIT on how the technical solution can fulfil business needs
- harmonisation of data and processes across affiliates to improve standardisation in use of system (e.g., ensuring that configured/customized functionalities within one affiliate can be reused for other affiliates)
- responsible for analysing business and IT strategy to define an efficient architecture with focus on business benefits
Strong character and CRM experience
You have experience from a similar role and you have worked with Veeva CRM for a minimum of 4 years and have experience with large cross-organizational projects. You have a relevant higher education. You get things done and at the same time you have an overview of IT operations, development and methods.
The position requires strong commitment and ability to take decisions, often in an environment with contradicting agendas where a balance is needed between short term gains and long term wins.
Your great communication skills make it easy for you to build and maintain trustful relations across professions and organisational levels. You can explain the complex in manageable terms to people with backgrounds different from your own, and you can create shared visions and engage all stakeholders in the details of your well designed plans.
System Management Department
The position is within the System Management department, where you will be a part of a team with other Solution Architects, Solution Specialists, Service delivery Managers and a global Veeva admin. As Veeva CRM is a new application within the application portfolio in System Management you will play a leading role in ensuring a sound application strategy to support the business needs.
