Are you a skilled Project Manager with solid people skills? And would you like to play a key role in the development of new LEGO Products where you balance the interests and demands of designers and engineers? Head your team and foster collaboration between designers and constructors As Technical Project Manager, you lead different teams to plan and coordinate the technical processes of new product development. Typically, these consist of 2-6 Technical Constructors. You do not have any formal management responsibilities, but you are in charge of the daily coordination as well as supporting and motivating the Constructors as a people leader. Thus, you build a pleasant work environment for your team, ensuring the best possible setting for producing results, and you: Produce project plans and ensure that the technical aspects of the projects are moving forward Balance the visions of the designers with what is technically possible while making decisions accordingly Carry out calculations and estimates related to capacity and financial resources to ensure that the projects stay within the set budget, time and quality standards Make your influence Count You join 14 other Project Managers in TED Novelty Leads, which is part of Elements & Moulds in Engineering and Quality, where we develop core products for the LEGO Group and serve as the vital link between Product Development and Operations. In this role, you get close to the early stages of innovation and product development and to directly influence the final products and results of the LEGO Group. Also, you join a truly global organisation and get to make an impact through state of the art technical project management tools, techniques and processes. Engineer with strong people and project management skills Your main challenge is to ensure teamwork and collaboration across the organisation, especially between designers and engineering teams. To enable this, you are an outgoing, dependable and a skilled networker, who can establish relations across a large international organisation. Apart from this, you: Hold a technical background - probably within Plastic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or alternatively you could be a skilled technician Have worked in a similar position for 3-5 years - preferably within a matrix or global organisation Exhibit excellent leadership, communication and project management skills Are experienced within quality management and knowledge of 3D construction and SAP is a plus Can travel up to 20 days a year and speak and write English fluently Join the global LEGO® Family In the LEGO Group, we succeed together, and you will be part of a global family where you can use your creativity and enjoy a fun working environment across the LEGO Community.
