SW Application developer with green ambitions
Your primary task will be to:
•
Develop application modular SW based on our stage/gate-model and SCRUM principles
•
Specify, review, test and validation on simulators and release handling
•
Be responsible supervisor on running turbine nacelle for Factory Acceptance Test
•
Be responsible supervisor on commissioning complete turbine for Site Acceptance Test
•
Run site measurement campaign for optimising stability and reliability
As a minimum, you hold a Bachelor’s degree within Software Engineering or Computer Science. We expect that you have experience within embedded programming on Linux and/or Windows. You must be excellent in designing and validation with C-programming and have experience with field communication protocols like CAN Open, Profibus, among others.
To DEIF, it is important that our customers are well informed and instructed in our products, and you will play an important role in giving the customers the best education and training.
There is a daily co-operation with the global R&D team situated in Shanghai, Bangalore, Odense and Skive. Therefore it is necessary that you are very good at communicating in English, both orally and in writing.
You have to be able to focus on the details in your work, and at the same time with a sense of urgency. You have to be self-driven and capable of handling several tasks at the same time. It is essential that you are a team player, and see knowledge sharing as a factor for both yours and your team’s success.
In the end, we hope you will be motivated by exploring the products in their own environment and that include traveling 2 – 4 weeks related to site commissioning and up to 60 days per year.

You will refer to the Department Manager of Customer Project and be an important player in an experienced and well performing international project team working on tomorrow’s Advanced Wind turbine Controller platform AWC 500.
