Haldor Topsoe is an international company based in Denmark, but selling highly specialized catalysts and technologies all across the world within the energy sector, petrochemicals, environmental solutions, and ammonia for food production.
The company is in rapid development and as part of our long term strategy we are expanding into new business areas, including biomass utilization as well as new and sustainable ways to produce much needed chemicals. We offer a challenging summer student job to a chemistry or chemical engineering student who will contribute to the development and scale-up of new and sustainable processes. You will primarily work with lab scale test units doing performance tests of our catalysts. The position is a summer job for 2 months full-time.
Your responsibilities
As part of our New Business team you will be asked to:
- work in close collaboration with in-house scientists & technicians
- prepare catalysts for testing, including tablettizing and fractionation of catalyst samples
- run the test unit ensuring high quality data
- assist with data treatment
- help with every day operations in the lab.
You
- are curious and innovative

- are result-oriented and have a strong personal drive
- have good communication skills and are able to interact with your multi-national colleagues.
Qualifications
You are a skilled student in chemistry, nanoscience, chemical engineering, or equivalent. It is an advantage if you have experience with and flair for experimental work. You speak and write English fluently.
