Jan De Nul Group offers specialised services for the installation of subsea structures for the oil, gas and renewable energy markets. Your tasks and responsibilities as a Structural Design Engineer are:

  • Design of components and steel structures for ships and offshore structures in 2D & 3D from initial design to production drawings

  • Strength calculation and reports of steel structures by both hand calculation and Finite Element Analysis

  • Consultation with internal departments to determine design constraints

  • 2D & 3D drawings of steel constructions and mechanical parts

  • Follow-up of production drawings and offer technical support to CAD designers

  • Feasibility studies
