About the department
You will join a dynamic team functioning as finance partner to management in Diabetes Finished Products (DFP). DFP is an organisation covering more than 5,000 people across 4 continents. The finance department is responsible for budgets and controlling, supporting management in setting and reaching financial targets, as well as providing operational input to ensure control of a cost base of over 6 billion kroner. You will be joining the Strategic Finance team, which has three main responsibilities: 1) Driving cost optimisations across the organisation, 2) Own the risk management process and 3) Financial assessments for strategic decisions.
The position
You will get the opportunity to join an international, high performing unit, which consists of around 45 people. You will work in the Strategic Finance team in close collaboration with stakeholders from various international departments.
You will drive and facilitate optimisation projects and initiatives to strengthen processes within the department; You are expected to support projects owned by the department involving stakeholders across the global organisation.
You will provide insights and material for decisions through financial and strategic analysis ; You will get the opportunity to gain deep insights into a broad range of financial processes, supporting the team in meeting business objectives while keeping good communication with several high level stakeholders.
Internship Period: The internship position is a full-time position for 5-6 months.
Start date: June 2016.
Qualifications
We are looking for an intern who is passionate about initiating and driving innovative improvements in an international supply chain context. You are structured and comfortable with managing your own time and deliverables. You have strong analytical skills, a good eye for details and are driven by data.

You have an innovative mind-set providing new ways of communicating our processes to our stakeholders.
You have strong work ethic and willingness to take responsibility for your own learning.
Requirement: Students in their first or second year of their master studies.
