Job Purpose Working for one of our esteemed Pharma clients in the South County Dublin area, the role of the Health & Safety officer will be primarily to promote Health & Safety on site, identify risks, provide H&S guidance and support on site and to improve the overall H&S performance of the site. The successful candidate will work with all ISS employees including catering, cleaning and facility staff and will adhere to H&S Policies and Procedures at all times. This will be a stand-alone role onsite reporting to the FM Manager however, there will be continuous support and guidance from our H&S Team from Head Office. Evidence will be required · Previous 3 years’ H&S experience · Third level qualification (or similar) in Occupational H&S or comparable field · Knowledge of Health, Safety & Environment legislation Desirable Experience (but not required) · Previous pharma experience or knowledge of pharma industry would be advantageous · Competency in the Facility Services sector · Qualification as a manual handling instructor · Safe Pass · Previous experience of providing training to employees (Manual Handling, Chemical Awareness, etc)
