The Technical Consulting team is a global entity within the Sitecore Services Division. The TC mission is to provide consultation, procedures, and documentation to ensure that partner and customer Sitecore implementations follow recommended practices and meet or exceed target performance levels.
Sitecore is looking for a professional with a solid background in Microsoft Dynamics AX Retail, e-Commerce, Web development expertise, and experience in IT (.NET) architecture, who is motivated, highly technical, and service-oriented with a sense of ownership from concept to completion.
As a member of our team your responsibilities include:
- Generate documented service offerings for Sitecore’s .NET Technical Consultants to deliver globally.
- Provide consultation and mentoring to Sitecore regional offices on development and configuration recommended practices and performance related service offerings.
- Provide consultation and mentoring to Sitecore partners and customers on recommended practices and performance for Sitecore Commerce powered by Microsoft Dynamics Retail
- Provide feedback to Sitecore product groups for the betterment of Sitecore’s product offerings
- Create and deliver blog posts, whitepapers, guides, presentations, workshops, and other collateral on recommended practices and optimizations for internal and external audiences.
- Provide technical expertise for challenging proof of concepts and sales engagements
- Take leadership role in a project team
- Comfortable building content and presenting to technical as well as business teams
General Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Has 3+ years hands on experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX Retail 2012 implementations in a professional services capacity
- A self-starter that is easily motivated by a challenge
- Has experience implementing an e-Commerce solution
- Has experience with large scale, enterprise, commerce web solutions
- Has experience with Microsoft based products (AX Retail 2012 R3, OS, IIS, MSSQL, ASP.NET)
- Has experience with cloud-based service offerings (e.g. Windows Azure, Amazon EC2, Rackspace, etc…)
