Job ID: 199267 Location: Vejle Organization: Siemens in Denmark – Siemens Wind Power – http://www.siemens.com/windpower Mode of employment: full time We are looking for a Senior Project Planner for the Project Planning team within our expanding offshore business segment which is based at our offshore market unit in Vejle, Denmark. The projects are placed all over Europe and you can expect 25-100 travel days per year. As our Senior Project Planner, you will be a part of the project Management team for the offshore wind farm projects, with responsibility of creating and maintaining a well-structured and manageable project plan according to company and project specific processes and guidelines. What are my responsibilities? • Preparing master project schedule for all contractual deliverables of an Offshore Wind Farm installation project in close cooperation with the Project- and Work Package Managers • Preparing detailed schedule and resource plan for construction and commissioning of Wind Farm • Keeping the project schedule updated in case of events affecting the project • To identify and manage dependencies and interfaces across the full project scope • To reform regular progress update and progress analysis • To perform critical path and delay analysis • Prepare reports for monthly internal status meetings • Develop and prepare regular customer reports • Integrate schedules, and evaluate progress for sub contractors • Contribute to risk identification and mitigation What do I need to qualify for this job? You have a Master’s degree in planning, engineering, project management, communication or in a closely related field. Alternatively you have a combination of a Bachelor’s degree and some years in planning or Project Management. As a person you are proactive, outgoing and communicative. You have an analytical and systematic approach to your tasks, and can work with very detailed planning activities as well as keeping the full overview of the project. In addition, you possess excellent English skills both orally and in writing as well as advanced IT skills. Experience in using Oracle Primavera is preferred. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
