ECCO is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager for the Portfolio & Project Management Office (PPMO) in Group IT. We need a person who is used to maneuver in a challenging environment, leading medium to large-scale projects and teams while preserving a fruitful cooperation with our business partners. As part of the PPMO, you will join a small team where the key objective is to deliver on our promises and execute on business-prioritized projects. Job Profile: As a Senior Project Manager your core focus will be, to secure high quality control and delivery of projects. The majority of the projects are characterized by high complexity, high risk or large scale. You will have a central and vital role in the projects and need to be a strong facilitator of the process from project request to successful implementation. This facilitation will include clarification and specification of business requirements, blueprinting and process & solution design, project planning & follow-up, change management and Business transformation. Ownership of projects reside on business side including the responsibility for change management. Nevertheless, it is essential that the Senior Project Manager lean forward and feels responsible for ECCO succeeding in realizing the business benefits, which acts as the business case and motivation for prioritizing the project. As part of the PPMO team you will contribute to and engage in evolving project processes/models and project management skills across competence centers within Group IT. Approx. 20 days of travelling per year is to be expected. Qualifications and Work Experience: It is expected that you: are a natural authority and a strong communicator. are an experienced facilitator with a well-equipped tool box of methods and approaches. have a structured approach which makes business feel in safe hands in terms of navigating from headline level to solution design to execution and transformation. have an ongoing high focus on risk management and proactively initiate actions to manage stakeholders and mitigate risks. Ideally, you have at least 5 years of professional experience within project management in a global setting. Further, you have a theoretical background on the level of Master or Bachelor and a certified Project Management education. ECCO’s corporate language is English which you master in speech and in writing.
