Job offer description

Use your imagination in a position that is all about continuous improvements and assignments containing challenges never seen before. Joining us, you will quickly gain an in-depth understanding of our operating model and utilise this to develop our global end-to-end component planning process. Develop optimal planning In this position, you help ensure that the LEGO® components, the LEGO bricks, are accessible globally - today and in the future. Specifically, you have a decisive responsibility for the LEGO Group operating model and act as a global project lead to help invent and secure optimal operating principles related to moulding planning concepts and processes. Here, your role is twofold, as you both run projects to change, optimise and standardise our global moulding processes and facilitate optimal supply models. To do so, you: Partake in development projects to improve planning processes and systems - representing and incorporating the component planning perspective while driving your own sub-areas of the projects Develop and implement new supply planning concepts to improve and secure existing supply concepts, making sure that these are optimised to production set-up and changing market needs Look into the quality of our current set-up and make sure that supply concepts are adhered to within global component planning and other areas affecting component planning Ensure that the central moulding planning principles are globally aligned - also with the global supply chain set-up Inspire, invent and create At the LEGO Group, you will get to think both logically and creatively in everything you develop. You join a team that bridges global and local ownership of core component planning processes and oversee the development of new processes that can adapt to and simplify an increasingly complex value chain. While doing so, we make sure to have fun and collaborate. And we will support you, as you help expand the imaginations of millions of children by inspiring, inventing and creating the optimal operating models. Challenging project manager with significant supply planning experience Often you act on behalf of the Global Capacity & Component Planning organisation, working globally and across different supply chain areas to develop the organisation and our processes. To do so, you will need great change management capabilities to encourage and facilitate change towards co-workers and make change recommendations. Really, you know that status quo is not an option, and you are able to follow through on your improvement suggestions. Also, you probably: Hold 7+ years of supply planning experience, preferably from a production environment, giving you a general knowledge of the supply chain set-up, principles, dynamics and dependencies Have a broad understanding of planning processes coupled with an understanding of ERP and SAP IT systems, so you can implement supply planning policies, strategies etc. directly Are a seasoned project manager, who can act on your own and know how to manage and collaborate with stakeholders, vertically, horizontally and across cultures Communicate effortlessly in English Bringing it to life "What will really set you apart in this job is your ability to facilitate change and nurture a development that is in line with the rapid growth the LEGO Group is currently experiencing. In all honesty, opportunities like this, where you have a decisive impact on central processes in a major global company, are in short supply," says Niels Jørn Jørgensen, Director, Global Component Processes & Development. Join the global LEGO® family In the LEGO Group, we succeed together, and you will be part of a global family, where you can use your creativity and enjoy a fun working environment. We look forward to reading your application - please remember to attach a motivated cover letter and a current CV in English, when you apply. We do not have application deadlines on any of our positions. We take candidates into the recruitment process continuously and close the position down once we have found the right candidate.
