Key Responsibilities
As Senior Contract Negotiator you will be working in our new HQ reporting into the Head of Bids and Contracts and be part of the commercial department of Maersk Drilling. Some travel is required within the region. Your responsibilities will be to:
• Assist the Operational organization with management of existing drilling contracts.
• Negotiate new drilling contracts as part of a combined Maersk Drilling team.
• Coordinate and develop drilling contract input for drilling contract tenders.
• Take part in the further development and strategic initiatives of the bids and contracts team.
Who we are looking for
You have strong commercial mindset and analytical skills while being constructive and positive towards the various tasks on a daily basis.
• You can work at a high level of independence and are comfortable working with commercial contracts.
• Your educational background is not as important as your business/commercial sense and your flair for the operational aspects of this line of business.
• You must have the ability to build and maintain close relationships with internal stakeholders and clients.
• You have the drive to execute complex transactions of significant value with our clients and experience in negotiating in pressured and high value environments.
• You are fluent in written and spoken English. Working level proficiency in a Scandinavian language is an advantage.
