Radar Software Engineer (m/f)
Your responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing the embedded software for a 79 GHz radar platform
- Developing system software components as well as new radar signal processing methods and algorithms, implementing them in the target hardware
- Cooperating with engineering teams within the Radar Accelerator and the IEE Group
- Analysing the system requirement specifications and managing the software requirements
- Defining and implementing the software architecture
- Developing and maintaining the application framework, communication stacks and diagnostics
- Developing signal processing software and algorithms according to the system requirements
Your profile:
- Engineering degree in computer science, electrical engineering or communication engineering
- An excellent knowledge and understanding of state-of-the-art radar technology and software development for multi-core embedded systems

3-5 years’ experience in the following subjects:
- Radar signal processing in multi-channel, multi-target applications
- Numerical computer simulation tools (MATLAB)
- Embedded software development and integration of signal processing algorithms in heterogeneous multi-processor environments
- Real time operating systems in multicore environments
- Requirements management tools (DOORS)
- Methods of Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and Automotive SPICE (ISO/IEC 15504)
- General understanding of embedded system architectures
- A good knowledge of C / C++ programming
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English is mandatory, German and/or French are strong assets
