Project Manager DFP Standardisation & Optimisation

NOVO NORDISK A/S

Gladsaxe, 1 stilling

- Project Management

- Denmark - Bagsværd

We are looking for a project manager in Diabetes Finished Products Standardisation & Optimisation (DFP S&O), a unit in Novo Nordisk responsible for Process Optimization, Lean and Training across our production sites in Denmark, US, France, China and Brazil.

About the department

DFP S&O consists of a team of 22 skilled and professional employees working with Optimization, Lean, Training and Standardisation of production processes. The unit strives to enable the Diabetes Finished Product (DFP) areas to deliver business results in a lean way by creating transparency of best practices, and supporting those areas in implementing sustainable solutions to both DFP strategic projects and local business challenges.

The position

In your new role as a project manager, you will lead compliance and optimization projects to address quality, compliance and performance improvements in a global environment within Aseptic Production, Finished Production, and Production Support. You will be responsible for projects of typically 6-12 months duration all the way from identification of needs to final implementation.

This position has many stakeholders and deliverables. The key to your success is achieved by staying focused on the DFP Business plan while constantly aligning with your customer. Three of your main guiding lights will be: Compliance, simplicity, and sustainability.

Although you will not have any direct reports, you will be leading virtual project teams consisting of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and local project managers from all DFP Production Sites.

Qualifications

Your project and portfolio management skills are proven and you have worked in a global environment to drive projects from early ideas to realised benefits. Leading virtual project teams requires a person with strong change management skills. Along with change management, the ability to impact through networking and collaboration is essential. No matter your geographical location, it will not become a barrier for taking this position.

You have a proven track record of successfully driving optimisation initiatives and you have hands-on experience with Lean or Six Sigma, preferable from your time in production.

You can safely navigate in an environment of change and are able to establish relations to and cooperate with colleagues at all levels. Your personal qualities define you as robust and a self-starter with a high level of energy. Moreover, you have strong communication skills and master the discipline of giving presentations disseminating clear-cut contents. Last but not least, you have proficiency in written and spoken English.

Working at Novo Nordisk

At Novo Nordisk, you will be part of a company respected equally for its financial results and its business ethics. Across geographical, cultural and professional communities we develop and deliver innovative medicines.
