Project Engineer for High Speed Separator Modules
Alfa Laval wants to strengthen our E&S PFL High Speed Separator (HSS) team, with central base in Søborg, Copenhagen. For this purpose, we are recruiting a talented, proactive and energetic project engineer who should join the HSS team in our E&S organization.
Engineering & Supply (E&S) is a truly global support organization committed to deliver professional project management within a wide range of applications and industries. We have employees in Denmark, Sweden, Germany, US, China, India, Brazil etc.
The project engineer will join an existing team in Søborg, Copenhagen, which is dedicated to high speed separators and which will constitute four engineers. The travel activity will be 20 – 40 days per year.
Key tasks
Engineering of process modules based on high speed separators
Participate in execution of customer projects and development projects
Automation specification, including functional description
Adapting PLC programmes for customer projects in Siemens and/or Allen Bradley
Testing plants and modules in our workshop prior to shipment
Commissioning (electrical, mechanical and process)
Trouble shooting in the field
Support to Market Unit Vegetable Oil Technology(VOT), Protein and customers
Product Responsabilty (PRES)
Personal profile & qualifications
Engineering degree (electrical or mechanical with good electrical knowledge)
Experience with automation in the food- or process industries
Experience with rotating equipment (HSS or decanters) or keen to learn about it
Structured personality, with a good sense of time-management
A good communicator in English
Teamplayer and customer oriented
