Postdoc position in primary cilia and Hippo signaling
A two year postdoctoral position is available from March 1, 2016 at the Section for Cell Biology and Physiology, Department of Biology, University of Copenhagen. The successful candidate will take part in a research project headed by Lotte B. Pedersen and Søren T. Christensen, funded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation. The overall aim of the project is to investigate the role of kinesin-3 motor proteins and ciliary transition zone components in regulation of specific signaling pathways at the cilium, with focus on the Hippo pathway.
Applicants should have experience with mammalian cell culture and molecular, biochemical or microscopic techniques. Prior experience in primary cilia and signaling is an advantage, but not a requirement. The postdoc’s duties will include research within cilia biology and signaling as well as teaching and student supervision. The post may also include performance of other duties.

Terms of employment
The position is covered by the Memorandum on Job Structure for Academic Staff.
Terms of appointment and payment accord to the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations on Academics in the State.
The starting salary is currently up to DKK 405,501 including annual supplement (+ pension up to DKK 69,341). Negotiation for salary supplement is possible.
