The magnificent 5 * Castlemartyr Country Hotel Resort located 20 minutes East of Cork City is currently recruiting for both Day and Night Porters. Reporting to the FOH Manager you will be is responsible for welcoming guests to the Resort and supporting the Front Office team.
Key Responsibilities
- To check function list for the days business and VIP list ensuring you are familiar with special requests.
- To welcome guests on arrival, opening car doors and introducing guests to Reception.
- To ensure guests cars are parked and guest cars keys are kept safe as per standard when not in use.
- Maintain an efficient guest car key security system.
- Assist all guest luggage and personal belongings, greeting in friendly manner.
The ideal candidate for this position
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to work within a team environment.
- Previous experience of working in a hotel environment desirable
- Availability to work up to Full Time Hours
- Excellent attention to detail is required as well
- Team Player
