Do you have a solid overview and take pride in delivering high quality tasks? Then you might be our new PLC/HMI Programmer. We offer a position in our automotive department where you will participate in different project groups and work closely together with committed colleagues all highly specialised within their professional field. Together with your colleagues you meet customer expectations, and manage professional technical challenges and deadlines. The automotive department operates on a global scale and you will therefore work in an international environment with high demands for documentation, innovation and Lean thinking. Our customers include BMW, Audi and Daimler Benz among others. PLC programming with a focus on customer satisfaction You will be responsible for developing, testing and commissioning software for our projects within the automotive field. As such you are responsible for providing PLC programs based on customer specifications for both large and small projects all in close cooperation with our project managers. The primary programming language is Siemens S7 and TIA but AB, Mitsubishi and the likes can also be part of our delivery. Other responsibilities will be: • Test and commissioning of our equipment at the customer • Software documentation • Training and education of the client’s employees • Support and contact to our suppliers You are offered an independent and challenging job where you will be part of several projects at a time, but always at different stages. Since our activities are located around the world, you must expect travelling up to 80 days a year. Quality on time Your trademark will be on-time delivery of projects with high quality in all activities and processes. You have a background in automation as technician or similar, and Siemens S7, TIA and the likes are a part of your toolbox. You are self-driven and capable of handling several tasks at the same time. You enjoy solving tasks in cooperation with colleagues and customers, and you take responsibility for the joined outcome. Last, but not least, you need to be outgoing and able to communicate well with customers and suppliers in English and German both in speech and writing.
