On behalf of several public hospitals in Denmark, Look Abroad! offers attractive jobs for medical doctors specialised in pathology. We have job offers in areas such as gastrointestinal, dermatological and gynaecological pathology, but we are interested in hearing from pathologist of any speciality. We have vacancies at the island of Zealand and in the central part of the Jutland peninsula.

Your Tasks

  • You will work in a highly specialised pathology department.
  • Your daily tasks will be carried out in a well-functioning and streamlined laboratory.
  • Your role and your tasks will depend on the specific position and the hospital. We will offer you further information about the position(s) in which you are interested during the job interviews.

Qualifications

  • Specialized in pathology (residency) or about to finish the residency.
  • Preferably some experience and interest in gastrointestinal pathology, dermatological pathology or gynaecological pathology.
  • You are motivated for living and working abroad.
  • To be able to help you obtaining your Danish authorisation we need you to:
    • Be a citizen of a European Union member state.
    • Have a university degree in medicine and medical specialisation from a European Union member state OR …
    • … have a certificate recognising your residency from a European Union member state and at least 3 years of work experience from the same European Union member state obtained after completing your residency.

Languages

You will use the Danish language at work, and you will get intensive, free language training to help you reach a sufficient level before starting to work in Denmark. To be able to participate in the Danish language course you will need to:

  • Be available for participation in an intensive 5-months online Danish course (you will receive a financial support of 1.000 euros/month during the course).
  • Be proficient in spoken and written English (B2 level or better).
