The team
The Online team is one of four teams in the Customer Facing Applications department (CFA), which is responsible for developing and maintaining our Go-to-market-, eCommerce, CRM and web based business applications. The team works in an Scaled Agile Framework, where not only Scrum and KanBan are key elements but also funding, programme and governance structures are adapted to delivery in an agile global context. The team consists of 10 members including scrum master, product owner, developers, frontenders and other business resources. The main focus is delivery of and on our global strategic platform Sitecore with Zen Garden framework and other enterprise components integrated. Please see video of Global IT here
The Organization
CFA is part of the Business Solution Delivery organization in DGS Global IT. All BSD departments together delivers the IT solutions and technical assistance on a global scale and works with a wide range of Microsoft products and Microsoft technologies, including Sitecore, Azure, Biztalk, SQL Server, SharePoint and the proprietary applications as ASP .Net, WPF and C #.
In this position you are also becoming part of a large Global IT organization with many short and long term opportunities here at HQ at Kongebakken in Smørum and working with our sister companies throughout the world. Some travelling (10-15 days yearly) is to be expected. We are focused on recruiting and retaining the strongest possible profiles and in this regard considers employee development as an important cornerstone in achieving this. So certifications, education and keeping up-to-date will be a natural part of your daily workcycle.
Your mission
The role is a tech lead role, and our expectations are high but suitable for the right profile.
You will be part of the Online team, where your main tasks consist of ensuring best-practice architecture at an application, but also process and integration level. We consider hands-on development as a key to achieving this, so you will also spend at least half of your time delivering components together with the team.
The other half of your time will be spend on ensuring and developing best practices, amongst other things but not confined to: evolving our continuous delivery approach on Sitecore, code reviewing, pair programming, dialogue with business partners, solution analysis, aligning and describing requirements and most important generally be the responsible technical governor and representative of our Sitecore based solutions and strategy.
Your profile
You preferably have a master's degree in an IT related field. We expect your skills in web technologies are top notch. You must be technologically curious and be updated in the latest technologies. You have experience working for an international company most likely occupying a Senior Developer role or Microsoft .NET Web application developer, with insight and sound understanding of javascript, html, C#.
You are familiar with the use of agile methods, for example, from previous Scrum projects. We expect you to be expert in: Web applications, OOP, Automated test, System development, C#, .Net- and most importantly you have seniority level experience with Sitecore.
