IT Technical Project Manager

As our new Technical Project Manager, you will be part of the Semco IT team and report directly to the CIO.
Your responsibilities and tasks
You will be responsible for the coordination and completion of technical projects, to ensure timely delivery, cost and quality. Furthermore, you will be responsible for having the complete overview of the ongoing activities in the related area of responsibility. Ensuring stakeholder alignment and communication as well as a smooth delivery to the business and end-user.
Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:
- Initiating projects defined in alignment with main stakeholders, taking into consideration the technical requirements as well as including expected outcomes
- Updating and informing the key people on project progress and that they are kept up to date with relevant information
- Executing projects and implementation ensuring coordination and completion of technical projects, delivering the needed technical solutions
- Identifying and driving opportunities to improve the business
- Alignment of priorities related to defined business criteria like safety, financial impact, costumer requirements and risks
Your qualifications and skills
We expect you to be passionate about project management, agile methods, and value for costumers. Furthermore, we expect you to have a broad and solid experience working with technical projects and software development projects.
Outside of that we expect that you:
- Have at least 5 years of experience as a working professional in the technical area
- Know of general and agile project management methodology and that you have a structured approach to your work
- Possess the ability to establish a goal and provide direction for a project team and the involved stakeholders
- Have experience working in an international environment and collaborating with people from different cultural backgrounds
- Have excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English
- Project Management certification is an advantage but not a requirement
