Add structure and priorities to a new team As our new Senior Manager, you are responsible for managing a team of 5 supporters dedicated to supporting Management and KIRKBI. In doing so, you along with your team will act as trusted advisors and be responsible for providing guidance, training, problem solving and recommendations for use and improvement in key systems and processes. By understanding and balancing the differing needs from Management and KIRKBI, your prime responsibility is to ensure that every task is completed and at the right quality as well as: Leverage your deep domain expertise to prioritise requests as well as develop and motivate your team to deliver their very best by driving core HR processes Be proactive in understanding and translating sometimes vague and undefined IT needs into tangible solutions and quickly resolve them Ensure that end-users are aware of and use the appropriate service channels to become more skilled and secure users by providing suitable training, technologies and tools Use enterprise solutions developed by Corporate IT to optimise the consultancy efforts of your team Travel up to 20 days per year to deliver on-site IT service for individuals, workshops and Management meetings Connected community You will be part of a family-owned business that offers a supportive, collaborative network and a team structure. Empathetic manager who knows how to prioritise and balance expectations The challenge in this position is prioritising the broad span in your team's work assignments, just as receiving indirect information from a VIP's network about IT needs will further develop your skills in interpreting information. To succeed, you are structured and maintain the overview like no-one else and you: Have 4+ years of management experience in an IT related field, preferably within IT infrastructure (Server, network, desktop or similar) and you probably hold a Bsc or Msc in IT or management Ideally have knowledge of our HR processes from previous employment with the LEGO Group or KIRKBI, ideally combined with a track record of managing VIP stakeholders, e.g. from a position as Business Relationship Manager Have great communication skills, verbally and in writing, and you know how to communicate with all types of colleagues across functions and borders Hold a well-developed sense of propriety, can handle confidentiality and are aware of the fact that to your end-users, IT is just a means for making life and work easy Are prepared to be challenged and invite people to disagree, yet have a high level of personal integrity and of course are service-minded Join the global LEGO Family In the LEGO Group, we succeed together, and you will be part of a global community where you can use your creativity and enjoy a fun working environment.
