About the department
You will be part of an inspiring community of around 300 skilled and committed IT professionals who are responsible for all major IT projects and IT systems at Novo Nordisk. You will have ample opportunity for professional sparring and best practice exchanges in your daily work as well as through a global Project Management network.
Your point of departure will be Bagsværd, Denmark, but your work can take you almost anywhere in the world.
The job
As IT Project Manager at Novo Nordisk, your project assignments will be among the strategically important IT projects in the company and will therefore have top-level priority and support from Novo Nordisk’s senior management. Your projects will have some degree of complexity including stakeholder management at all organisational levels in Novo Nordisk. Consequently, this job offers you the opportunity to follow your projects through all phases, from the earliest idea development until the business benefits have been realised. Depending on the size of your project, you will have management responsibility for up to 25 people and responsibility for a budget of up to 25 million DKK.

Qualifications
You have at least four three of experience with IT project management from an international consultancy firm, a major IT vendor or a major international company. You also have a Master’s degree in business administration, engineering, computer science or economics. You have a good comprehension of IT and potentially worked projects within the pharma domain or even more specifically within R&D. You are motivated by challenging assignments. You can absorb new knowledge quickly, make strong use of our Project Manager toolbox and deliver on the parameters of business benefits, scope, schedule and cost. You possess strong people management skills and have a natural ability to engage your stakeholders. Independence, cross-cultural understanding and fluency in written and spoken English are essential. You are ambitious about your projects and your career, and are interested in growing your skills and management expertise.
