About the department
RA IT Operation is a team in Global Regulatory Operations. We are responsible for the management of a number of IT systems in Regulatory Affairs. We participate as IT advisors in improvement projects and help optimize the benefits of existing IT systems. We bring our deep knowledge of the RA IT system landscape and the data streams to support management in Regulatory Affairs with data extracts for monitoring of process performance.
The job
As IT Coordinator you work with many different stakeholders to ensure high business value and quality of the IT solutions in Regulatory Affairs. To succeed it is crucial that you thrive on working independently and in a team as both the coordinator and a contributor.
You provide data extracts from our systems to enable design of performance reports in Global Regulatory Operations and you deliver support for data driven management decisions.You are responsible for driving minor IT projects and IT system releases, including specification, planning, testing/validation, training and implementation. Your stakeholders in Regulatory Affairs also come to you for advice and for help to facilitate an automated solution to their business challenge.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has strong technical IT skills and a passion for creating visible results in a fast paced and dynamic environment. You have an academic background, e.g. from IT or Engineering, and have 5+ years of experience within IT system development and maintenance. Understanding of the requirements to computer systems in regulated industries is considered an advantage. You must be fluent in written and spoken English.Professionally, you are driven by an interest in IT architecture and data flows. You have worked with system development from design to test. You are highly proficient in MS Excel and have a solid understanding of database and data warehouse design. As a person, you have a positive mind set and are energized by the dialogue with users. You translate business needs into value adding solutions that can be operated and maintained efficiently. You have a structured approach to prioritizing, coordinating and executing tasks.
