About the department
Corporate Financial Planning is responsible for the financial planning and management throughout the organisation. You will be part of a young, dynamic department consisting of 45 employees divided into five teams; R&D Finance, Staffs Finance, Operations & MMASE Finance, Corp. Controlling & Strategic Finance and Risk Office. We are ambitious and constantly strive for excellence. Our overall aim is to create business impact through finance partnering to our stakeholders by combining strong financial competencies with a solid understanding of the business in which we operate.
The job
Your job will primarily consist of assisting the Risk Office advisors with the quarterly risk reporting process and participating in driving the overall Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) system. This will require you to work closely with different parts of the organisation to ensure that relevant risks are identified and assessed. To accomplish this task successfully, you will have to develop a deep understanding of the value chain activities and utilise it actively to raise relevant discussions on risk content.
Finally, you will contribute to a variety of interesting risk projects, which are normally carried out in cooperation with stakeholders and colleagues from different organisational functions, and aim at supporting and enhancing relevant parts of the ERM system and/or risk reporting process.
Qualifications
You possess strong analytical capabilities, and can solve complex problems fast. More importantly, you are able to analyse and comprehend large quantities of information, and use your strong writing and presentation skills in English to communicate it clearly to stakeholders. You are fluent in English both in written and spoken.
You are in your first or second year of master studies, and the degree your are pursuing is related to risk management.
Qualification: Students in their first or second year of master studies.
Period: The internship position is a full-time position for 4-6 months.
Start date: 1st half of 2016
