Step into a global function where you will play a crucial role in securing professional price management in Jabra. Through its Jabra brand, GN Netcom is a world leader in innovative hands free audio solutions, and as our new Global Pricing Manager, you have the opportunity to enable the maturity of key business processes and have a real material impact on our profitability. As you step into this high profile role, you enter a dynamic growth company with a significant market opportunity in unified communications and hearables.
Create and lead a brand new function
You will create and lead a new function for price management and report to the VP of Global Channel Management. This is a new role, so you get to create this function from scratch, working across a matrix of different business units involved in pricing, from product positioning, MSRP setting to discount structures and special price approvals. In this process, you will work closely with the Global Senior Management team representing finance, sales, marketing and business lines. The initial objective will be to formulate the overall price management strategy, framework and implementation plan and finally anchor that plan into the organization with the appropriate investments.
Solid experience with price management
• You have had direct experience with price management from a strategic perspective where you have implemented a price management function.
• Your experience may come from a related company or industry within consumer electronics or B2B selling through a distribution channel
• You have project management experience and have previously led a price management function.
• If you have people management experience, it is a plus, but not a prerequisite.
• You speak and write English fluently.
As a person, you are structured and fact based, enabling you to use your strategic mind-set. Moreover, you are determined and able to communicate clearly and hold people to account as you drive change in the organization. And finally, remaining stubborn, yet humble, you are able to engage with senior executives and drive change with them. Location will be Copenhagen, alternatively home base with frequent travel to Copenhagen.
