Finance Business Process Expert

A.P. Møller - Mærsk A/S (Maersk Drilling)

Lyngby-Taarbæk, 1 stilling

Would you like the chance to further develop your skills in a global setting? Are you ready to concern yourself with efficiency of financial processes and systems optimizations? You may then be our new Business Process Expert in the finance function for Maersk Drilling.

We Offer

You will join Finance BPO team - a team of enthusiastic process experts whose responsibility it is to manage, improve and support our end-to-end financial processes.

The team is a center of excellence offering direction and support to all parts of the global finance organization. You and your colleagues are in contact with controllers, finance managers & all other business process owners across on a day-to-day basis, which gives you the chance to develop your skills and interact with many different functions.

You will be a part of a well performing, diverse finance department with a very positive atmosphere and genuine respect.

We have recently implemented a new ERP system. Since we are setting all the finance processes up, this is a great opportunity to build processes from the ground up. It is hugely challenging but immensely rewarding.

You will be part of a truly international company with our employees representing 65 nationalities. Our strong focus on diversity is a natural outcome of a company with a strong talent focus, mindset and culture. This goes hand in hand with a commitment to inclusion: all employees are valued and treated with respect at all times and we believe that our employees thrive and perform better with a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

You will be the system administrator for Maersk Drillings reporting system (CACTUS). This will mean that you ensure seamless interface between the accounting systems (IFS) and the reporting system (CACTUS-ZIMPL).

You will also be the process owner for a select set of financial processes and will be responsible for the health of your processes. You will need to develop the process, set the KPIs, monitor them & improve/ optimize your processes over time.

Furthermore, you are the go-to person for your process and will be responsible for conducting trainings, refreshers and updating documentation & controls.

Who we are looking for

You are an enthusiastic team-player and can combine creativity and expert skills in solving complex problems. You are comfortable working in a team as well as on your own.

In addition, you have an interest and flair for numbers and for learning and mastering IT and ERP based systems and take pride in sharing this knowledge to support and empower your colleagues. You work well with change and enjoy establishing structure where there is none, and you thrive in a volatile environment where each working day brings new challenges and new learnings.

You hold a Master’s degree in accounting or finance, or you have a similar level of education. You have a couple of years of experience in a BPO function or as a systems administrator, where you have worked with process improvement.

You are a strong Excel user and knowledge of IFS, BA, BI and HFM will be an advantage. Similarly, training or certification in Lean or Six Sigma is an advantage but not a requirement.

As you will also be working in a fast moving environment where focus is necessary, you will need your ability to prioritize tasks and remain calm and show a positive attitude even under pressure. You are outgoing and happy to assist your colleagues around the world in their work, and therefore you are able to communicate clearly and constructively in English.

Please apply as soon as possible as applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis.
