We are looking for a dedicaed and experienced supporter with a “can do” approach who has the ambition of being responsible for regenerated ETOH.
About the department
Purification Plant (PP) is part of the Novo Nordisk insulin production (DAPI), and we deliver purified Insulin to Novo Nordisk finished goods facilities globally. PP Utility Support covers 4 Purifications facilities and is a part of the maintenance department, with 57 employees. We are an independent and professional strong team, currently with 12 colleagues - operators, technicians, and chemists. Our goal is to ensure stable production of purified water and ETOH.
The Job
Your responsibility will be to ensure safe operation of distillation units in all 4 purification facilities. This includes follow up on distillation operations, handling of deviations, and in co-operation with the support teams in each of the 4 purification facilities, conduct problem solving and optimizations.
Your tasks will be a combination of problem solving in the the production facilities and quality related work in the office. In the production facilities, the work will be cross-functional and you will often be driving the process, and participate in securing correct documentation, through various production reports. You will be evaluated in your ability to handle deviations, optimizations and securing a stable and sufficient distillation process.
You need to be a dedicated team player, co-operate positively with your colleagues and contributing in striving for development and optimization of processes is natural for you. The level of your experience and your competences defines your tasks and responsibilities that are necessary to ensure challenging workloads and the many cross-functional stakeholders that present good opportunities for your professional development. You will be working with LEAN and GMP in all aspects
Qualifications
You have an academic education within natural sciences, e.g. chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a pharmacist. You are experienced within ETOH distillation operations and preferably additional experience within ETOH processes. Knowledge about purified water is an advantage. You have knowledge about GMP/ISO and LEAN, and you are proficient in English, spoken and in writing. You are motivated by a dynamic environment in progress, with constant focus on optimizations of competences and processes. You can take the lead and know the value of data analysis and a systematic approach. You are capable of maintaining the overview and continually prioritize your tasks. Candidates with experience in the field of ETOH distillation are preferred.
