Would you like a technically challenging job in an interdisciplinary R&D environment in the Medical Technology business? Can you handle many simultaneously ongoing tasks and changing priorities?
We are looking for a well-organized chemical engineer for Radiometer Medical’s AQT R&D department in Brønshøj, Copenhagen. This is a technically challenging job in an advanced R&D department with focus on R&D, system integration, usability and quality.
The team for system integration, verification and validation consists of 3 bioanalysts and 1 chemist. The team is responsible for the design and execution of R&D tasks on the AQT immunoassay system, system integration tests, verifications and validations. You will report to the System Integration manager, and have cross-departmental cooperation (Hardware, Software, Marketing, QA, RA, Production, Technical Product Support & Service, and more).
Travel activity of 10% is to be expected, i.e. to our colleagues in Finland and hospitals/customers from time to time.
The job
To become successful, you must possess broad knowledge and experience within different areas within chemistry, biochemisty, and statistics. Your responsibilities and tasks will include:
-Conduct analytic studies.
-Statistical data analysis in SAS JMP.
-Cross-functional collaboration for process improvements and assessment.
-Risk assessments for planned changes to the system.
-Design and documentation of system integration studies, verification and validation studies. Writing of protocols and reports.
-Complex problem solving: Systematically identify root causes and countermeasures to problems. Establish implementation plans and drive execution independently.
Qualifications

-M.Sc. or Ph.D. in chemistry, biochemistry or similar.
-Experience and interest in statistical data analysis. You may be experienced in working with development of an instrument platform.
-Experience and interest in documenting studies from an FDA regulated area.
-Experience and interest in system integration.
-Fluency in English is required. Danish language skills are an asset.
-Experience with SAS JMP is an advantage.
