About the department
Sarbox Consulting is a part of Corporate Accounting Services, a unit in Corporate Finance at Novo Nordisk, and comprises 12 ambitious and experienced former auditors in both Denmark and abroad. The team’s primary responsibility is to ensure that Novo Nordisk has established robust financial processes and controls in compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and the COSO framework related to financial reporting and to assist in maintaining a sound internal control environment throughout the global organisation. In addition, we use our knowledge and expertise regarding risk identification and mitigation in other non-financial related areas, such as our Social and Environmental reporting and Anticorruption/Business Ethics compliance programmes.
Our work is carried out in close cooperation with our colleagues across the world, and we assist and support in relation to their business and process challenges. Further, we coach our stakeholders and strengthen internal control skills within the organization.
The job
We offer you a job as an internal consultant with focus on risk identification and risk mitigating actions via internal controls, primarily in the largest business areas in the Novo Nordisk group. Your primary responsibilities is to perform annual and ongoing risk assessments, lead and support the timely creation of control matrices for new and updated processes and prepare and knowledge share with business partners and control owners on the requirements and expectations for internal controls assessments. Further, you will be involved in several interesting, cross departmental projects within finance and IT in order to move the different internal control programmes to an even higher level.
You will be the risk and control expert, and design solutions that are value-adding to the business. You will obtain insight into the business areas and principles of the Novo Nordisk group, and be able to develop a large network across the organisation.

Qualifications
You hold a B.Sc. /HD(R) or M.Sc. in auditing, and have around three to five years’ experience working with auditing or assessment of financial processes in a large accounting or international firm. You are an internationally oriented person who can independently perform risk evaluation, analysis and take decisions. You are proactive and have an engaging personality, value teamwork and have the ability to stay focused when working under pressure. You have strong communication and social skills and value interaction with management and other stakeholders. You are fluent in both written and spoken English on a professional level, willing to travel when the job requires, and also ready to invest both time and effort in your personal and professional development.
