Position licensing programmes as an important marketing Tool As part of the Outbound Licensing department in Billund, you will join our team responsible for licensing out the LEGO brand in the hard goods category - such as brick storage, home décor, food & drink, stationery, watches, electronic accessories, etc. In the role as business manager, you will become responsible for developing successful partnerships by uniting our business strategy with that of our partners. More specifically, this means that you will: Negotiate partner contracts in collaboration with the legal team Develop business plans that produce both financial and commercial value for the LEGO Group and its partners Determine the optimal portfolio programme in collaboration with partners as well as the LEGO design, often in a co-creation process Hand over the portfolio programme to the product coordinator and design consultant while continuously working with the partner to optimise marketing and retail execution in collaboration with the licensing retail marketing team. You know how to make a strong business case, but you also have a desire to see things from a new perspective in order to develop new interesting partnerships. Also, you are able to communicate your ideas to colleagues and partners so the value of the business relationship becomes clear - from both a financial and a branding perspective. Moreover, you have: An international business degree combined with at least 2-3 years of experience in consumer product development, preferably within licensing and the kids segment An understanding of business models and value chains - from business development and manufacturing to selling-in, retail and marketing Strong negotiation and consumer understanding skills, where you are used to working with research and insights to ensure the best long-term business while building brand loyalty.
