Do you have experience with developing applications in Oracle Application Express (APEX) and do you want to play a critical role in a company with strong commitment to patient and product safety? Then you might be our new APEX developer in Global Safety IT, where we are currently looking for a new colleague to help us build and maintain APEX applications.
About the Department
Global Safety in Novo Nordisk is globally responsible for safeguarding patient safety and product quality. Within Global Safety you will work in the Global Safety IT department together with 8 other colleagues, in Bagsværd, Denmark. The primary responsibility of the department is to support Global Safety with safety data retrieval and analysis as well as system development and management.
The Job
You will be a crucial player in a multicultural team consisting of colleagues in both Denmark and India with different educational backgrounds. The primary responsibilities will be to develop new applications in Oracle Application Express in close collaboration with our stakeholders. Furthermore, you will be a key player setting up governance structures for the APEX environment as well as handling continuous support and maintenance of these applications.
Your responsibilities will allow you to work with a lot of different partners within Global Safety, affiliates, external partners and experts.
The position gives you an excellent opportunity to continuously develop your existing skills within APEX development and maintenance and is a good opportunity to further develop your competencies within PL/SQL, HTML and JavaScript.
Qualifications
You have a degree in Computer Sciences. Documented experience from current/former positions within APEX development. You have advanced knowledge of SQL and especially PL/SQL. Knowledge with HTML and JavaScript is preferred. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, and have a strong quality mindset that is clearly reflected in your deliverables. Experience with pharmacovigilance and Oracle Argus Safety is an advantage but not a prerequisite.
You enjoy working in a global environment with many stakeholders. You are proactive, have a high level of drive, and result-oriented.
