The number of people with diabetes is increasing dramatically. Therefore, Novo Nordisk is in the process of developing new products to secure patients are receiving the best treatment they can with the highest quality of life.
At Site Kalundborg the production facilities are involved in the production of the new products from Phase 2 to launch to market. To succeed with our clinical trials we need academics with a high level of commitment and who thrive in a complex setting with high degree of stakeholder management in a constant changing environment.
About the department
The production departments are responsible for producing the clinical products in campaigns in different phases. The production departments will have approximately 4-6 teams consisting of 2-4 production teams and 2 academic teams supporting the production teams. The production is handled in close collaboration with e.g. R&D, Manufacturing Development and Quality Assurance. The jobYou will be a Production Professional reporting to the Associate Manager for the team of Production Professionals. Together with the rest of the team you will be responsible for various aspects within fermentation- recovery- or purification processes.
This includes: Adaption of new products into existing equipment, installation and qualification of new production equipment, upscaling and validation of new products, and cleaning validation.
Preparing new products for launch to market You will secure that the production within your area of responsibility at all times is ready for inspections and audits. You will handle the documentation, including preparation of specification requirements for the users, reports on non-conformities, handling of change requests and yearly evaluations. This all takes place in a GMP regulated environment.
Qualifications
Optimally you hold a Master’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmacy or similar and have solid experience from the pharmaceutical industry. It is an advantage if you have experience with one or more of the following: implementation and validation of products and validation of processes including supporting IT systems.Ideally you have 4 + years of relevant production experience. The right candidate will receive adequate training in the areas necessary to succeed in the position.
It is crucial that you are able to network, collaborate and work at a high professional level, both internally and externally. You are expected to work both independently and in teams to ensure buy-in from key stakeholders. You can look forward to working with a highly dedicated project team covering the production of clinical campaigns. You enjoy interacting with different people during your workday, and you are good at establishing close relations to different stakeholders. You manage to keep calm when juggling many tasks, and you always deliver in time.
