Hello! We are WAAT
We are a cross-functional team of product owners, developers, engineers, designers, and communications and marketing experts distributed across Europe.
By exclusively using open-source technologies, we do not sell ready-to-use products; we rather provide solutions to specific use cases. We believe that every project is unique and that is why our client approach is highly individual.
Moreover, we develop systems for online communities of practice and interest, online and onsite events, job boards, scientific platforms, data analysis and visualisation, e-commerce, knowledge sharing and partner search and many others. Our clients are multinational communication agencies, global enterprises, the European public sector, communication and marketing units.
Our team offers a broad range of services which cover the entire spectrum of web development: from backend and frontend to user experience (UX), search engine optimisation (SEO) and video production for the web.
We exclusively use open-source technologies and rely on an Agile process when working on web projects, which places our clients at the centre of our product development cycle. The centrepiece of our approach is to explain our choices to the client so that each step is taken with a complete understanding of potential alternatives and implications. At every step of the process we make sure that we choose the latest as well as the most relevant tools and technologies to ensure the best possible outcome. We also keep our eyes open for further improvements in the continuously evolving world of web innovation.
It is to be mentioned that our team has successfully delivered several web systems for the European Commission. Therefore, we have the necessary knowledge to deliver the project adhering to the contract specifications. Our experience gained through the collaboration with the EC means that we know how to execute the web development process in a professional manner.
