CIMPOR, the national leader in the cement sector, was born from the merger of 7 Portuguese cement companies in March 1976.

In 2012, CIMPOR became owned by the Brazilian group Camargo Corrêa. After being acquired by OYAK in 2019, CIMPOR became part of a group that has been asserting itself as a player on a global scale, with a turnover exceeding 8,9 billion Euros. It employs 30,000 collaborators in more than 127 companies, located in 23 countries.
The OYAK Group is currently a benchmark in the development of innovative solutions for the use of cement, guided by criteria of efficiency, creativity and profitability and also guided by a sustainable and responsible action in environmental and community terms.
