We are looking for an additional Verification Engineer (VE) in order to strengthen our technical department team. The Verification Engineer will be responsible for verification and documentation of our core products in collaboration with our technical team. The VE will therefore build, develop and maintain our database of both products and processes in a visible manner, and have an impact on our brand of being Global Leading Experts. Your Responsibilities: •Structural analysis / extreme and fatigue calculation of our products both analytically and using FEA •Managing certification projects of our products (DNV etc.) •Bolt calculations according to VDI 2230 •Maintaining product verifications/calculations •Assisting Application Engineering / Sales in customer related issues •Assisting in the development of new generations of brakes. •Verification of frames/brackets for mounting of brakes •Redesign and verification of our brakes Your Qualifications: •Mechanical Engineer, preferably with a few years’ experience •Experienced in the use of 3D CAD programs including FEA (SB uses PTC Creo Parametric / Simulate ) •Experienced in the use of MS Office and, if possible, familiar with ERP-systems (we use Dynamics AX / AXAPTA). •Preferably with knowledge of product certification (DNV etc.) •Knowledge of VDI 2230 bolt calculations •Must be able to maintain a general view of things, be able to work independently and structured with respect for time plans and required specifications, and be a good team player. •Used to working in an ISO environment, and lean thinking • A natural in written and spoken English, German is an advantage, but not a requirement •Good knowledge of MS office •Used to working with international standards Your Profile: •You are driven by quality, documentation, and structured mindset •You have good interpersonal skills and a cheerful disposition •You have a good overview and are able to work independently and structured with respect for time schedules and specifications For further information about this position, please contact Senior Technical Manager, Niels Christensen on phone no. +45 63 255 280 More information about Svendborg Brakes ApS may be found at http://www.svendborg-brakes.com.
