Play an integral part of a competency centre in the LEGO Group You will be part of a global team of Project and Portfolio Managers in the Operations Project Portfolio Management Department. We govern, prioritise, manage, and execute large strategic projects within the Lego Group. We also function as a competency centre for project management excellence. We have a strong project portfolio in 2015 and beyond. Thus, you can look forward to: Helping build project management competencies throughout the LEGO Group. Being a go-to expert and get the team further recognition as the project management competency centre within the LEGO Group. Cooperating on key projects globally with 30+ travelling days a year. Create strategic guidance across the LEGO Group As our new Senior Project Manager, your primary responsibility will be to handle the execution of a number of strategic projects in close collaboration with stakeholders across the organisation. The projects vary in size and complexity, but are usually large in terms of strategic importance, budget and no. of people involved. They are all carried out in accordance with our values and company DNA, which ensure inclusion and cooperation. Together with each team, you ensure that each project is executed within the agreed framework and through a transparent approach that follows the LEGO Project Stage/Gate Model. Your ability to professionally execute strategic projects will make you a trusted sparring partner to the business. Strong background in project management As a person, you enjoy making all levels of the organisation understand your field of expertise and sharing your knowledge as well as having the courage to challenge decisions at all levels in the organisation. You have a broad business understanding and the curiosity to look for ways to improve the way we work. You inspire and lead through your know-how and competences. Finally, you possess good communication skills and as a change agent you motivate teams to work towards the change needed. You hold a higher education. In addition, you hold a Project Management Certification/Education, i.e. PMI, PMP or IPMA at minimum C level, but ideally have B Level experience and skills. You can document extensive experience managing large and complex projects, just as you have experience with large change management projects. You speak and write English fluently.
